Get around without your own car

The Reschensee Guest Pass is your passe-partout: a single ticket that lets you use all public bus and train lines throughout South Tyrol without limit.

Public bus and train lines in South Tyrol include:

• the Vinschgau railway and all other regional trains in South Tyrol and as far as Trento (marked with an R on the timetable)
• city and regional buses (City Bus)
• the Swiss PostBus between Mals and Müstair
• the cable cars: Ritten, Meransen, Jenesien, Kohlern, Mölten and Vöran, the Ritten tram and the Mendel funicular

The Reschensee Guest Pass is issued to a named individual and cannot be transferred. It must be validated at the start of each journey (before boarding, for train travel), without needing to state your destination.

The pass is valid for the duration of your stay. Children under six, prams and luggage travel free of charge. Dogs require a supplementary ticket unless they can be carried. Taxis and hiking taxis are not included.

To bring a bicycle, you can purchase a day ticket for bike transport. Tip: only a few bike spaces are available on the train. Rent a bike instead, or use the bike shuttle, also available for a fee.
